Who stand with Republican on the deficit ordeal?

by on December 6, 2011

It’s is possible for a Republican to compromise with Obama? Or are Republican so caught up with their own ideas they forget that they aren’t running the country for themselves but for their people?
Obama sat back to let Republican come up with a deficit plan, and he wont compromise. I think he is being weak and allowing himself to be pushed around.

Obama doesn’t want compromise.

Republicans have offered several compromises. It’s the Dems that won’t compromise.

I stand with them. This country needs a strong budget and our weak lame duck President is more worried about using federal money to strong arm votes from Minorities and illegals.

Republicans have never been for all of the people. All of their actions only benefit the rich and big biz.

When the politicians themselves take a pay cut, they are on the right road

The way I understand it is Obama wants to increase taxes on people who make $200,000.00 or more a year. This puts the members of congress in that bracket, so they are not going to cooperate.
Congress needs to take a pay cut, just like most of us had to. They seem to forget who they work for. The American people should have the wright to lay them off, for not doing their job. These are adults, running the most powerful country in the world, but act as though they haven’t even started Kindergarten yet.
I don’t claim a party, and will say that the republicans need to get their hed out of their tight ass and get something done. Cooperate with the president, he did not create this mess, he inherited it.

Ok It’s not like me to usually comment on politics stuff and when asked usually I try to dodge because politics like religion that it’s so personal that people take differences in OPINION OR VIEWPOINTS that it feels like an insult.

First thing is first, finances esp. in this day and age and with the economy the way it is. This should have been dealt with about 6 months ago (aka 6 months before the problem so there wouldn’t be one now).

Secondly, I want to make myself clear. I am a registered independent and I identify as a moderate. In terms of being a moderate, I tend to view social issues and domestic (within our own borders) issues a little more liberally and I view international policy issues and financial issues more conservatively. It seems to me that both sides are just sitting on the butts both seemingly not willing to compromise to the other party. But I will give republicans more credit because they would be willing to do some comprimise as long as something is cut without raising taxes.
